OUR HOPE
We hope you enjoyed reading the Bible studies that
show us how much God loves all people, including
Israel. Without these Chosen People, we would never
get to know the Creator of the Universe or the joy of
living life to its fullest.

We know that there may be many questions left
unresolved for those who have read what these
lessons offer. That is only a sign that you are a
thinking person, willing to look even further into the
marvelous truths that have been revealed in the
Bible, God's word to you today.

Above all, we pray that God's Spirit has given you
faith that moves you to serve your Lord.
When Messiah Jesus came, God's Word made it clear that our hope rests in
only one thing. We must accept Jesus for whom he really is.

We are told in John 1:1-5,
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that
was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light
shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it."

This promised Messiah was God's Word that took on flesh so he could pay
the price for our sins. This becomes clear in John 1:14 where God's Word
says,
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His
glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and
truth."
It is hard to comprehend such love that would move God to let His
word take on flesh, His perfect sinless word, in order to pay the price for our
sins.

God has done His part by sending us the Lamb of God, Jesus. He is ready
and willing to forgive all of your sins in the past, present and future if you
repent of your sins, put your faith in Jesus as your only hope for salvation.

You are invited to claim Jesus as your Savior, God's Son. You are
encouraged to confess the sins you know as you ask God to forgive your
sins and accept you as His child. Then, you will take the next step.

God's Word tells us in Acts 2:39,
“Repent, and let every one of you be
baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall
receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

Something special happens when you repent of your sins and claim Jesus as
your only hope. Your sins are forgiven, and God gives you His Holy Spirit
to dwell in your heart. The Spirit gives you the gift of faith, but He also is
going to be your constant counselor, teacher and source of strength to live
according to God's Law. No you will not be perfect, but when you sin, the
Holy Spirit will see that you are shown this sin, moved to repentance and
restore you while you continue to claim Jesus.

Something special happens when you are baptized according to Romans 6:3-
4:
"Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ
Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him
through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by
the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."

We are baptized into Jesus, himself, claiming his perfection and purity. We
are buried with him through baptism as we die to sin, forever hating the sin
that we find in our lives. We are also raised with Jesus in his resurrection so
that we might walk in newness of life. The true believer, who claims Jesus
and the Spirit of God, will have a whole new life style because he will live to
please the one who died for him. He can do this now because the Holy Spirit
was received in baptism.

If you want to be baptized, you should look up a Christian pastor or
missionary near you and ask for baptism. Once you do this, rejoice because
now you are God's child. You will be given God's grace and power to restore
you daily, strengthen you in your faith regularly and empowered to live to
please the One who has redeemed you.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I confess to you that I am a sinner and hopelessly lost.
I claim Jesus as my only hope for salvation, and I ask you to fill me with
your Holy Spirit. Lead me to the right person who can baptize me and make
me one with Jesus in his death and resurrection. I give you my heart, mind,
soul and strength my God and praise you for all you have done for me.
Amen.

If you have found these lessons interesting and helpful, you will enjoy out other Web Sites:

www.ministryofhope.info tells you more about Ministry of Hope, its teachings and its purpose.

www.cincinnatilutheransalive.org was written to call the Church (all denominations) back to God's
Word. It is so easy for Satan to lead us astray from the teachings of God's Word when people neglect
their Bible Study and rely mostly on their 'feelings' which is common in our day.

http://godswordalone.org is written to draw people to God's Word for a solution in their lives. We get
correspondence from those having read www.lessonsfromisrael.com asking for more answers. We
hope that most of the answers they seek will be found in this Blog.

MOH also is developing a Manual for Evangelism Training. This manual will be made available to
those who want to become more effective in witnessing to others. We request a donation to Ministry of
Hope to help defray the publishing and mailing of this manual.

Future plans call for Web Sites in Israeli, Spanish and French. We want to reach as many people as
possible. We purchased software that translates from English into 75 different languages. We will need
to double check to make sure that it does a faithful enough translation to use.
